Ralph Benjamin, CB (born 17 November 1922) is a British scientist.
Benjamin was born in Darmstadt, Germany. He attended boarding school in Switzerland from 1937, and was sent to England in 1939 as a refugee. He studied at Ellesmere College and at Imperial College London. He began his career at the Admiralty Surface Weapons Establishment (ASWE).
From 1971 to 1982, he was the Director of Science and Technology at GCHQ. Later he served as Head of the Communications Techniques branch at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) Technical Center.
