Ralph Benjamin, CB (born 17 November 1922) is a British scientist.

Benjamin was born in Darmstadt, Germany. He attended boarding school in Switzerland from 1937, and was sent to England in 1939 as a refugee. He studied at Ellesmere College and at Imperial College London.[1] He began his career at the Admiralty Surface Weapons Establishment (ASWE).

From 1971 to 1982, he was the Director of Science and Technology at GCHQ.[2] Later he served as Head of the Communications Techniques branch at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) Technical Center.
